After taking my wife to attend socialization at her school, Nala, my second son. I visited the teacher’s mess (Senior Camp) who works at my school and is still single or single or has not relocated (married but wife and children not invited).
This Senior Camp is a camp giv
en to mining employees of PT Kaltim Prima Coal who are single and have grade C or engineer. For teachers who are single in my school, they are placed in a mess owned by PT. Kaltim Prima Coal, which in terms of teacher status is equivalent to Grade C or the leading hand in the company.
Its status is equivalent to the leading hand. The inherent benefits are also the same as those of PT Kaltim Prima Coal employees, such as getting air-born facilities, aircraft transporting employees from Tanjung Bara Sangatta to Balikpapan twice a year. This particular benefit is not available to employees or operators who have grades or below.
Unlike when I was single, I was placed in a hotel funded by a school or foundation. Although at first glance that the hotel I stayed in was better with the mess occupied by single teachers now it is not quite right. If the comparison is cost, please note the cost of the camp that is occupied by single teachers now. This budget is more significant than the hotel I used to live in.
Besides that, there used to be an assumption in Sangatta that living in the teacher’s mess room now has a higher prestige value than the hotel I lived. I enjoyed the hotel facilities for three years until I finally got married and relocated to a rented house. Meals are covered, laundry is free, and employee pick-up is free from establishing a foundation from 1991 until 2006. All single or unmarried teachers were placed in the Senior Camp.
However, from 2007 when I first entered and joined this foundation until May 2017, the teacher was placed in a hotel and finally returned to occupy this place. For me, who has never settled a senior camp, I think there is no difference between staying at a senior camp and at a hotel, both of which do not pay. Both are covered for food, laundry, and free shuttle.
Enjoyment and comfort are not determined whether or not the place is expensive or the facilities provided by the place. However, it lies in the hearts and minds of each of us. For me, staying in a hotel or a Senior Camp is more suitable for unmarried and single people, but it is more comfortable for those who are married to live in a hut built with a partner that makes the place quiet and comfortable. Come on, my friends who are not married, get married soon because half of the worship is there.
